On 5/28/2022 I purchased $65 of Regular Unleaded gas from Arco #42209 (Marathon Petroleum Company subsidiary) at 26492 E. Highland Ave., Highland, CA. 92346. Posted price for gas was $5.97 per gallon. Upon completion of my transaction, I received a receipt which documented that I was charged $6.37 per gallon. I informed gas station attendant of the error in overcharge, but he stated that he couldn't do anything about it. I contacted Marathon Petroleum, who assured me that a Arco representative would contact me. That never did happen. Practice by Arco/ Marathon is fraudulent. I wonder how many other customers have suffered this scheme without ever even knowing they were victims?!? This criminal behavior cannot go without repercussions, accountability, and resolve. Resolution Sought I seek address and investigation into my claims. I also seek full return of $65, both as recompense and punitive measure (no matter that this amount is minimal). Appropriate disciplinary measures must be exercised as deemed fit by staff.
