I purchased plane tickets through them. Two days before I was set to come back they contact me to tell me that my departure time has changed from 2:30pm to 5:56 am. I explained to them how difficult that was going to be for my family since we had made previous arrangements to be taken to the airport from a report part of Panama. They suggested I contact the airline itself to see if they offer me more options. American Airlines told me that the time change had been made over a month ago, and that Lookbyfare had failed to notify me in a timely matter causing me to miss another flight that was close in time to my original one. Lookbyfare denied that they knew ahead of time and maintained the position that they were just notified my AA. I asked about my options that the agent said that they needed 24 hrs. to find out how much of a refund I could get from AA. I contacted them 24 hrs later as agreed, but they never answered. I tried with my daughter's phone and the results were the same. The next day I tried again, and I finally hung up after they kept me on hold with a recording for 42 minutes. At that time I knew they were avoiding my calls because they messed up and couldn't recognized it and try to do something for me. Resolution Sought I would like to spread the word that this is what's happening with travel agencies. They are not updating their r tickets and notifying their customer causing a lot of unnecessary headaches.
