Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. Closed on a house two years ago after the title company received a signed estoppel stating that all violations have been closed. On March 3rd received a violation letter stating that the front fence that has a lattice top must be changed and I have until the 14th of march to do this. Linda Johnson said THEIR SIGNED letter stating that all violation have been cleared means nothing and that I MUST do the change out this week. Of course I will have to get approval to start the process. Resolution Sought I think THEIR approval of the fence back when the former owners had it installed and by THEM sending an ALL VIOLATIONS CLEARED letter SIGNED by the manager sent to my title company allowing the close on the house means there are NO violations and you can't come back TWO YEARS LATER and say that that letter means nothing. (she said that to me) If they changed the fence laws that means any new fence must meet the APPROVED guide lines and old fencing must be grandfathered in.
