I had a kitchen remodel from a company that made a terrible mess and did not finish job. Hired Asheville Kitchen Tops to finish job. Rob, the owner came and gave an estimate which was twice as much as the original company charged. He knew that we had to have this job done, so I feel like he overcharged me. He kind of had us over a barrel. The kitchen counter was totally ruined so I had to have it fixed, so I had no choice but to have him do the work. It took about a month to do the job, but he told me it would only take a week. He would start on mine and stop to go do another job, and this happened several times. He charged roughly $2800 to do the job which I thought was too high. The job was done in April of 2020, the countertop has gotten a long crack on one side of it and he won't fix it unless I pay another $900.00. I know it's been over a year but he should be responsible for fixing it. I did not cause the crack,it was there. I had a friend look at it and he said that it looked like it was cut wrong, this friend owns a construction company, so I feel like he knows what he is talking about. Rob from Asheville Kitchen Tops, that did the job was always drinking beer when he worked for me. S o maybe he messed the countertop up when he was cutting it. Resolution Sought Would like to have a refund of at least $900.00
