We went to Ashley's furniture to look for a new living room set. We found a set we absolutely loved, all taxes and fees brought the furniture to $2500. We paid 1200 via debits and the remainder in cash. Originally we were told to expect an 8 week delivery due to delays. After waiting 4 months, and multiple calls attempting to get an E.T.A on our actual delivery date, we were done waiting. Each time we called the data was moved back a week or two, finally we're fed up and just want a full refund. The loveseat and ottoman were always in their stockroom, the sofa was the issue. But since they still had no definite delivery date we could chance it. So they agreed to give us a full refund, the debit refunds happened quickly, we were told to wait a couple weeks for the check. After over 3 weeks I received a letter in the mail, detailing the refund, it shows both debit refunds and a check for the remaining $1334, showing it was cut on 5/27/2021. This check was never received. Today is June 22nd 2021 and still no check. The location where the furniture was purchased is their corporate office, yet they outsource the check, so they have to email their accountant and it's a lot of emails and waiting. Ultimately with no resolution of yet. This is unacceptable to say the least. We wanted our furniture , we loved it . We enjoyed our experience up until this point. We just want our money back. This experience left a bad taste not sure we'll do business in the future. Resolution Sought Give us our refund. We have waited patiently and this is ridiculous. This is bad business practice. Fix your corporate office. The service is trash. Return customers money as expeditiously as you took it.
