My car ,toyota prius 2010 , quit start and run. I towed it to Washington dc ,the mechanic checked and showed me that the engine motor got oil and coolant mixed , plus the outer which called clutch connected to transmission is broke as wel. Estimated $1100.00 to replace the transmission . One of my friend recommended if I talk to Ashu auto repair shop they will repair it cheap , so I paid $100.00 to towed it to the Ashu AUTO Repair Shop, located 2515 S Sherlington Road Arlington . On 01/22/2022. They told me that they will call me and update .No call on Friday the 22nd January, Monday ,I called but I didn't get through. I had to drove to enquire what's the problems at 9:30 am and what can they do to fix it. Again they said they will call me. 2pm they called me and told me the same words that my car engine motor is gone because to mixing oil and coolant. Then that guy told me that one of the technician will check by computer and the charges would be $105.00. I refused that . I am not a mechanic but the 1st mechanic showed me physically what's wrong with car . I drove again to Ashu workshop and they asked me to pay $95.00 for diagnose. Which is totally fake. I strongly request to get my money back from that work shop and the tow fee $100.00 as well. No one even open the hood or to look underneath the car ,if someone would do that must saw that one transmission cover was open and it was able to exam easily. Resolution Sought I want the diagnosed fee back plus the towing fee as well. Which is towing $100.00 $95.00
