Company states; My name is Jonathan Mackay, and I manage Customer Support at //Ask.com/Ask Media Group. I am writing you to provide an update to a consumer complaint that was sent via your service (Complaint ID #98976187), to Ask.com (Company ID 102546489). We reached out to Mr. Sanders directly on May 17th after receiving your message. In our response we informed Mr. Sanders that he was mistaken in his assumption that //Ask.com/Ask Media Group was responsible for the charge in question. While Ask.com does operate a number of search and content sites, none of our sites or products require payment or subscriptions to use. Our sites are all completely free. We are not sure what company is actually responsible for the charge in question, though we did recommend he contact his financial institution for assistance in identifying the source of the charge. We have not received any further communication from Mr. Sanders, and consider this matter closed.
