I had file a claim on 1/16/2024 no one has ever contacted me other than the third party who went only to view the damages due to a windstorm. This insurance company denied my claim since without me talking to anyone in regards of my claim other than customer service. On February 8 a claim examiner for first time send me a email a denial letter for the claim I had file . Since that day I've been trying to reach out to him and his supervisor and what they tell me when I call at 1800-652-1252 someone will contact you within 24-48 hours and no one has try to reach out to me. It has been almost two months and I left emails and messages. Please help me with this matter. Resolution Sought I need them to call me and give me an explanation of what happened I never spoke to anyone but the third party. I need my house to be repair then why was I paying for coverage my phone number is 9173791849

Damaged device was sent via USPS to Assurant. An individual there received the package on 1/23/24. at 12:43pm per USPS tracking. They told me the package was scanned on 2/7/24. Then weeks later they charge me a fee and try telling me the package they received was unsealed and empty. They have done this same scenario to several customers that have returned their devices. One customer mentioned a class action lawsuit was in the works. Resolution Sought I want my fee refunded as they are responsible for making sure the box is sealed upon receipt. I sent them the phone and it's out of my hands once USPS takes possession and delivers it to them.
