We received a collection letter in the mail for medical equipment used during a medical surgery from a company . The medical company my husband signed with some other company who is on longer in business and we never received any bill for three and a half years. We called the Doctors office they said this is a scam, don't pay this. Resolution Sought Eliminate the collection. Give this company a F rating

Company states; After looking closer into this account, we do have the prescription with the patient's signature accepting financial responsibility. However, we do not have the Explanation of Benefits showing the details of the billed claim. We will close this account with no further attempt to collect. Thanks!

I received 2 bills from this company regarding a supposed bill with a company named Philcare medical supplies in Sept. 2020. I have checked with my primary insurer and medicare my secondary. No service provided or billed to my companies. I called and have left 3 messages so far. No response. Is there any other course of action. Resolution Sought Respond to me, and tell me what this is regarding.

Company states; We do have the prescription from the physician and medical records showing why the product was being dispensed. However, the Explanation of Benefits is missing from the paperwork provided by Philcare Medical Supplies. This is not to say the claim was not billed. We have the denial code and could speak with Aetna to find additional information regarding the claim. However, we typically do not spend time on the phone with the insurance companies. These claims we typically send back to the original creditor. However, they are closing down and do not have any professional billers left to work these types of claims out. Therefore we have been instructed to close these types of accounts with no further action. Thanks!
