I got a Honda civic hybrid 2003 from Austin at the car lot llc on April 22 2022 I put 700 down and I made my first payment of 200 on Friday May 6th and I had to go there today and take the car back cuz it's not safe to drive ball joints cv joints tire rods wheel bearings motor mounts and the hybrid batter transmission everything needs replace d and they told me that I don't get my money back and they don't have another car in that price range. Resolution Sought Refund me my money I only had it for two weeks and they should of never tried and sold a car like that it's dangers.

Hello. Julie purchased the 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid "AS IS". We made it very clear to her that the vehicle needed mechanical attention but it was driveable, however we were not fixing any of the issues because it was an " AS IS" car unless she wanted to pay for them to be done. The $700 down payment didn't even cover the tax, title, license and fees. Tax, title, license and fees were $919.24. We will not be issuing any kind of refund. In the 2 weeks she had the vehicle she put almost 2,000 miles on it. Apparently it drove fine for those 2,000 miles. At the time of purchase we discussed options of getting a vehicle that would have a warranty and not be an " AS IS" vehicle, however all she had for down payment was $700 and her credit is not good. She needed a minimum down payment of $2,500-$3,000 to qualify for financing. She stated that was not possible and she was desperate for any type of car as long as it runs. The Honda Civic definitely was running, obviously they drove it 2,000 miles and drove it back here. " AS IS" means " AS IS" , we were very clear about that.

You know the odometer doesn't even work. Do you need me to send you the history report on the car? And it doesn't matter how desperate a customer is you should try and make it right but you guys say you will fix it. Had it for two days it's far from fixed and also said I'd find another car for me since I gave it back and that was May 9th.

"AS IS" means " AS IS"! The car fax report shows a mileage discrepancy, typically a clerical error but the odometer works fine. The amount of money Julie put down on the vehicle which was $700 and one payment of $200 does not even cover the Fees for purchasing the vehicle. There will be no refund. I also told Julie I would look for another vehicle but unfortunately with her well below average credit and limited money down it's impossible to find a reliable vehicle that doesn't need some kind of work. Julie was well aware of the condition of the car when she purchased it.
