Yes, we messed up the repair during the transmission service because the tech did not tighten the transmission pan correctly after putting It back on. Some fluid leaked out after Mrs. Ewing drove the vehicle off the lot causing the vehicle to go into shut down mode. She called the service department to let us know something was wrong, and one of our advisors immediately grabbed a vehicle and went to pick her up. We place Mrs. Ewing into a loaner vehicle, then we called the towing company that day to go and get the truck to bring it back here, but they had no one who could retrieve it until the next morning. Once the vehicle was dropped off to us, we immediately got it in the shop to find out the issue. Once realizing it was do to our error we repaired all necessary items free of charge, test drove the vehicle for 146 miles to ensure it was corrected, then had it cleaned and filled with gas before returning it to the customer. We apologized and tried to make it right by quickly handling these issues along with the detail and gas. Mrs. Ewing seemed to understand and was satisfied with the outcome, Mr. Ewing was not here, but we definitely understand his frustration with his wife being the one in the vehicle.
