Purchased a used, "certified in running and good shape! " Received the engine and once faceplate came off the front of the front of the engine to inspect the water pump and guess what ??? It's full of sand but yet it was certified by their mechanic as running, and in good shape. Called to tell them about it they wanted the old motor so they could inspect it before they would ship as a new one. If they found that the motor that we received was in good working condition they're going to restock it and I have to pay at 20 restock fee whether it's better not been talking with Chase chases dropped the ball !! These people were kind and full of help. But when we let them know about the usable engine their kind, helpful demeanor became belligerent and accusatory! Kevin, the service manager, told me: " you will have to send the bad motor back to us, before we will sent replacement ." He also said: " We will have OUR mechanics check it. We will charge you a 20 restocking fee, plus any damage you have caused!" He was informed about the timing belt, which desiderated as soon as touched! I am to replace the damaged belts, Even though his mechanics decided it was a working and Good Engine! FULL of SAND ! Yet it was a supposed to be a good working motor! I am NOT trying to get out of pat my bill! I would gladly pay for a really good working engine, NO SAND!!!! I will have a certified mechanic check it before We will accept anything thing further! Resolution Sought Take their motor back and as soon I get confirmation from my bank the refund had been completed, they can come get their engine. They can part out the "WORKING" motor parts??????????? RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!
