I made a purchase from food merchant Atlas Monroe on 8/28/2023, for 67.98, order #7426732. After not receiving any shipping or tracking information, I began attempting to contact the merchant. However, their phone would only continuously ring and they would not respond to emails. Eventually, in October, the merchant sent out a mass email, stating they had encountered system issues, causing the mass delays and lack of communication. They stated they could begun shipping out the backlog of orders in about two weeks. However, in November, they sent an email stating they had canceled my order and no refund had yet been sent. I sent I follow up email to this, with no response in return. I then took the step of opening a dispute with my bank, forwarding them all communication with the merchant. My bank first declined to reverse the transaction stating that it was valid. I then spoke with them and explained that was impossible, as the merchant canceled the order. The dispute was worked further, however, ending in the same result. Except this time, they stated the merchant sent them "tracking information". However, after review, there was no shipping information actually listed. But even after realizing and confirming this, my financial institution refused to work it further, stating they had done all they can. After conducting more independent research, I found a plethora of customers who have encountered this issue, with ATLAS going as far as blocking them from social Resolution Sought As I have no desire to ever do business with this merchant again, I want a full refund and apology. I would also like a complaint filed to my financial institution as well for their poor and unprofessional handling of this situation.
