Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. I was a potential resident for this leasing company, and during the period to finalized my lease it was cancelled. I spoke with Jason who is a manager via phone and he told me he could write me up a new lease and due to my financial situation the lease will be cheaper this go around, but only if I leave them with my $1500 security deposit after I paid $160 for a reservation fee that was suppose to hold the property until 21 calendar days to give us time to finalize the lease. Unfortunately, I was only given 15 calendar days until they terminated and cancelled the lease. I feel Jason took advantage of this situation lying to me telling me the lease would be cheaper to coerce me into dropping my security deposit off just to turn around and send me the exact same lease. After I notice the second lease was not what Jason promised I advised his team I am no longer interested and requested my deposit money back due to me not signing and agreeing to the lease. After me and this entity agreed I'm no longer in a lease agreement and I do not want to move forward they declined my refund and said I forfeited my security deposit Resolution Sought I would like to get my refund or handle this as a civil matter due to this entity advising me they cancelled the lease to redo it for a cheaper agreement then coerced me into bringing my deposit in but didn't tell me rather I decided to sign the lease or not I wouldn't get a refund
