This complaint is regarding Store 156 in South Sandwich MA. On 9/29/24 at 10:58 am I made a purchase including a qt of paint in the amount of $32.99 plus tax. At approximately 1:15 I attempted to return the quart because I did not end up needing it. I used a debit card to make the purchase. In my attempt to return the product I was told that I could only get store credit because it takes up to 3 months for a debit card return to process. I stated I would be fine waiting for the debit card to be refunded. I pointed out that the policy posted states that is only for items returned without a receipt or after 30 days from the purchase date. The manager (a young woman) became agitated and pushed the phone number to corporate at me and told me to keep the paint and stormed off. The other associates walked away and said they didn't want to get involved. I was left standing there with a product I purchase 2 hours prior and was seeking to return. Resolution Sought I would like to be refunded and I think there should be disciplinary action for the manager in how I was treated.
