On 5/18/22, I went to Auto Boutique and purchased a 2019 Subaru Imprezza used. The car didn't have keys upon my arrival, I was told by Zach that they would ship the car the next day. I completed all paperwork and financing, I signed a temp tag and was told they vehicle would be shipped next day. The next day Tyler the finance manager texted me the deal was cancelled and down payment was to refunded. Also asking to go somewhere else to buy a car. I attempted to call numerous times ( call log for reference). The company failed to return calls and explain the cancellation. I also spoke to Zach and asked about my refund he stated he would check into it. I never got a call from him . My answering machine works and he has not to this date 6/9/22 followed up with me. Is this how Auto Boutique does business ? Send text message to cancel transaction? They don't return calls? Auto Boutique has 44 complaints closed in last 3 years and 21 complaints closed in last 12 months with the BBB. Customer service this is on the BBB website for public to review. Dealership failed to communicate , Text message and failure to respond to customers not acceptable business practices. Customer service- Taking responsibility and communication a few of the many things that were never done with transaction. Resolution Sought $350.00, this is for my time, 5 plus hours of driving to and from the dealership, Wages missed at overtime rate, 4 plus hours at the dealership, Wear and tear on car etc. Also for dealership to apologize for lack of communication.
