My husband and I lost our van and needed another vehicle. We put $2900 down on a 2015 Ford Explorer and on our way home the check engine light came on. We called Auto Connections and they said they would have someone call us about picking the vehicle up four days later they picked the vehicle up. I called them and they said it'd be ready by Friday. Friday came and it's still not ready. They told me the fuel pump was bad, I called a week later they said a sensor was bad and they had to order it ok. I called back a few days later and now the timing chain needs to be replaced they said it'd be ready by Friday. I called that Friday and they then said the motor was no good and needed to put a new one in again it'd be ready by Friday. So I called again on Friday and they said the motor they got was no good and had to take the one out of a wrecked vehicle they have on their lot. It's been 2 weeks now and my husband and I decided to go to the car lot and speak to them directly about a refund they have had this vehicle for 31 days and I've not been able to drive it for 33 days. The owner Bob at the car lot said he didn't care about us or our money and that he didn't give refunds and the car would be ready January 30 by 5pm. He called the mechanic and said no ifs, and, or butts it needed to be ready. Today is February 2, 2022 and I still do not have the vehicle. This car lot is very bad with communication will not call you back for anything. I expressed how I felt, how I've been treate Resolution Sought At this point I don't know what to think. Vehicle or refund and communication if I get vehicle. I expressed if I owed them money the vehicle would be back at the car lot but it seems okay that I don't have it. Reliable vehicle is what I really want. I'm very torn between getting a full refund or buying this vehicle with a used motor out of a wrecked vehicle that didn't line up to the one I'm getting.
