The online quote was $336, then the local store called me to schedule an appointment and revised the quote to $484 and then when I called 1800 number another employee raised the quite for $680 for the same services (windshield replacement) and for the same car (21 RAV4 XLE). I put the same details on their official website and even gave the vin number to employees, so there is no chance for confusion. They even charged for safety sensor calibration and the store do not even have equipment me to do it. Resolution Sought Match the price to my online quote $336 and refund the extra payment.

We apologize for any confusion that our quotes may have caused, and we appreciate this opportunity to clear up any misunderstanding. Our web quotes currently include a $100 discount for booking online, but they only cover the costs associated with the glass installation, such as the price of the glass and the cost of labor. Sales tax and the costs of additional products and services, such as calibration or moldings, are not included in these web quotes and are not subject to the $100 online discount. We deeply regret any misunderstanding that this may have caused, but this is stated on the quotes themselves. The customer's web quote was $336.52 after applying the $100 discount. We have reviewed the customer's invoice, and the cost of the glass, the cost of labor, and the fuel surcharge all come to a total of $308.75, which is almost $30 less than what the customer was originally quoted. The remaining costs associated with this customer's invoice are the cost of moldings, calibration, and sales tax, all of which are not included in our web quotes. Based on the web quote that the customer provided and the price breakdown on their invoice, the customer received service for less than what they were originally quoted; as such, any further discount or billing adjustment is not warranted at this time. Regarding the customer's suggestion that the shop does not have the equipment needed to recalibrate their vehicle, we can assure you that this is not the case. The shop would not charge our customers for a service that it could not complete successfully. If the customer is encountering any issues that indicate some problem with their recalibration, we would encourage them to contact the shop directly for further assistance, and a customer service representative will be more than happy to help."
