I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Genesis Sedan 3.8l for $16,000, $21,000 after interest with a $3800 down-payment. I was told before purchase that they needed some time to replace a part before I took it. I waited a day for the repair and was told it was ready. I picked up the car and drove it home and began to notice noises and a strong vibration at highway speeds. I paid $200 for an alignment and wheel balance which found there were best suspension components and a bent wheel which was moved to right rear. I notified the dealer with no care on their end. I travel for work so I didn't drive it until next weekend when check engine light came on for the Oil Pressure Sensor and Oil Temperature Sensor fault which is the part I waited for it to be changed. I notified dealer and was told they never changed it. Offered me to come get the part. I took the USED part the offered to a dealer and was told they would not work on the vehicle due to an astounding number of missing bolts, parts and clip in the engine bag. GENESIS WOULD NOT SERVICE DUE TO CONDITION. I brought up the issues and was called a liar and to take it to them for their mechanic to look. Dropped off vehicle. 2 days later I was told the mechanic at Magic Auto Repair in OKC, Portland said everything was normal and fine. Contacted mechanic office 3/22/24, they have never looked at the car. He said he does not work for them after many attempts of being told to lie to customer. Mechanic directly admitted. Dealer untrusted. Resolution Sought Refund of funds used and payment. Another car of similar value after REAL DEALERSHIP MECHANIC INSPECTION.

Customer Purchased the vehicle and signed and confirmed that he is buying the vehicle as is which was disclosed. He also agreed to put down payment so he can get qualified for in-house financing with us. The dealership performed inspection and fixed issues before selling the vehicle to the customer. The part he mentioned was the engine oil sensor, which was replaced and also, we have changed the oil pressure switch and the harness based on the customer's request at no cost. He was never called a liar from our end, and we just asked him to bring the vehicle back for further inspection to make sure nothing was wrong with the vehicle. He called us and confirmed that he is good to keep the car once we fix the oil pressure switch which we did that, and he came and picked up the vehicle and also made his payment on time. Since then, we have not heard back from him, and it looks like he is planning on keeping the vehicle.
