Hello I was told I need a dual clutch fixed on transmission, but I seen there's a subject A-A class action lawsuit on this issue how can I get car fixed with this lawsuit they telling me I need to pay over 3200 to get it fixed when they know about this issue with all 2014 ford focus thx this is a copy of the on going lawsuit my friend sent me about the cars thx. The dual clutch transmission on the 2014 Ford Focus is an electronically controlled transmission that uses two rather than one clutch to shift gears in Your vehicle. The advantages to using a dual clutch are considerable and include much faster shifting between gears and thus less energy and fuel consumption. However, the Focus has been the subject of A-A-Class action lawsuit for dual clutches produced between 2012 and 2016. The SRX-speed automatic tranny is prone to rough shifting and repeated repairs. Under the settlement Ford proposed 30 million in cash repayments after already spending over 47 million in buy backs. The 2014 Focus should be covered under this court action. Actual out of pocket cost to replace the transmission could be more than $4,000. Resolution Sought I would like it fixed at no cost with a rental that they pay.
