Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

A variety of factors are considered when calculating CRI. This includes how quickly a company responds to complaints, the number of complaints against a company, whether the company addressed complaint allegations, and the outcome of the complaints. CRI is just a subset of the overall rating for the company. Consumers are encouraged to take into consideration the company's CRI, their overall BCA letter rating and other relevant information about the company so they can make a well-informed purchasing decision.

Bought a car from autohub, 3 days after we get the car, engine light, battery light come on, and it's overheating. We use the warranty on the car and take it to a repair shop. The work will be over 1500.00 dollars. The warranty won't even cover half. So we call the dealership and say we want to cancel the sale. They say OK. So we pay to tow the car to the dealership and we paid for the diagnostic from the repair shop as well. It's been a week and the dealership hasn't canceled the sale. Now they are saying we have to pay 2000.00 dollars in fees to cancel the sale. They never gave us a bill of sale or the contract I signed. They even gave us the car with expired temp tags. No temp Registration. We can't get a lawyer because we don't have proof of sale, and yet the dealership isn't giving proof of sale either Resolution Sought I want them to cancel the sale. They have the car, all the paperwork, and the financing loan has been stalled. I refuse to pay them for their bad product, just to cancel the sale.
