I didn't like how the AutoNation dealer conducted business. I didn't like how when I requested the OTD price, the sales person told me the $1,499 Ceramic Coating and $1,499 for the Prepaid Maintenance were mandatory because of the pandemic. Even after the salesperson grabbed the sales manager, he belittled my wife after she explained that she knew the 3 year Warranty was an option at other dealers. She simultaneously texted another dealer and asked them because this is 2022 and answers are at our fingertips. She found out they offered complimentary Toyotacare for 3 years or 36,000 miles at a nearby dealer. When they stepped away and brought back another OTD offer, they removed only the "mandatory" cost of the coating and hid the value of my trade-in to present to me a lower price. They ended up offering to remove the Prepaid maintenance fee. I walked out because I felt disrespected as a customer and wished they acted with more transparency and integrity. I will raise my budget for a Tacoma, but avoid visiting another AutoNation dealer and share my experience. Resolution Sought Stop lying to clients about mandatory fees that are not mandatory and trying to hide trade-in values when presenting a lower cost. I want transparency and integrity instead of placing a heavier burden on people post pandemic. They are behaving like opportunists.

I spoke to the guest directly through email, he would not take my call. I apologized for the confusion and misrepresentation of the products we offered to him. We do NOT require our customers to purchase products that are not already applied to the vehicle. To resolve the situation we offered a custom order at MSRP with no accessories added to the vehicle. We apply Ceramic Coat on all new vehicles upon arrival so I did offer to not put it on his. We have not been able to fulfill the build due to the supply chain constraints but will continue updating him if we receive a truck that will work for him.

Me and my boyfriend went to autonation Toyota in lithia spring Georgia in October 2020. We had just purchased a 2009 Chevrolet traverse 3 months prior that we put all of our money into and it was starting to go out on us so being I have a 11 year old daughter at the time and my boyfriend of 3 years is a truck driver gone most of the time he wanted me to have a dependable vehicle. We want to autonation and was told they could only get us financed for one vehicle. So they pulled around a white basic 2020 Toyota Camry a car that wasn't what we wanted. The salesman assured us keep it for a year then you can bring it back and trade it for whatever you want as long as you pay your payments on time. So we bought the Camry for 28k we pay 705.00 a month after 3 months of this car and knee problems we went back. They offered us back and they told us need to wait a year. Ok we wait go back for a second time to be told we had to wait another month it had only been 11 months ok so we wait 2 more months go back only to be told our credit isn't good enough to trade. We where never told we needed a 600 credit score up front when we bought the Camry. The sales manager said come back in a few months. Ok we waited again after going through knee surgery. When they called me and wanted us to come back I told him don't waste my time. When we got there they tried to sell us another car they didn't want the Camry. To trade the Camry they wanted 4k to 5k down. They lied to us now we are stuck. HELP. Resolution Sought I want the suv we where promised from the start or I want all the money back we have spent on this car we never really wanted. We pay 705.00 a month for a car that is hard for me to get in and out of. I want them to take responsibility for there lies just to sell people a car. This is wrong. Please help me i feel lost and stuck all of our money goes into a car we never wanted.
