I bought a 2021 Kia Sportage less than 48 hours ago from Autry Morlan dodge in Sikeston. I was told I would get a trade in on my current vehicle, a2015 Dodge Durango because I had only purchased it from them 9 months prior and it had been in the shop 5 different times for various reasons, the vehicle is currently in the shop at the dealership because it is over heating. Every time it had been to the shop it was through the dealership. I was told later that they could not use my car as a trade in and that I would have voluntarily repossess my vehicle. Ruining my credit. I felt pressured to purchase this vehicle, the Kia, and was made to feel like I had no other option but to go through with the sale of the car purchased 48 hours ago. I feel as though I was targeted because I am a woman. The vehicle is listed online for the amount of 20,575.00. The cash price that I paid was 20,997.00. They added over 400 dollars to the price. I feel as though I was lied to and manipulated to make a sale. With in 24 hours of having the Kia I had to jump the battery and after popping the hood a to jump the vehicle discovered it had no coolant in the vehicle. Resolution Sought Let me return the vehicle I purchased less than 48 hours ago. Fix my dodge Durango that is sitting in their shop. And return it to me.

The vehicle which Ms. Orton purchased was in her name and a co purchaser, Mr. Collier, who we believe was her father. Both parties agreed to the terms of the purchase and signed all required documents and Ms. Orton was in no way "targeted" because of her gender. We sell vehicles every day to female customers who do not come in with a parent or an advisor as did Ms. Orton.
