We bought a used car from Integrity Auto Sales on Jan 31. A pre-purchase inspection was done with AVA and there were no issues reported. Within 1 week the car needed a new transmission, which we had replaced through warranty. One week after that, the "refurbished transmission" was installed, we needed another transmission, despite the fact that they had said the 1st transmission placed was "tested and fine". On April 1st, we took the car to have the alignment fixed. It was discovered there is damage to subframe, needs suspension component, rear tow adjusters stripped requiring $2000 to fix. This damage was NOT reported by this company despite the company stating they had done a "thorough" inspection. Carfax, listed only minor damage, which according to Carfax "is cosmetic, may only require reconditioning, and typically does not compromise a vehicles' operation and/or safety." Resolution Sought I want acknowledgment that they lied on the inspection report, I would like $4000. $2000 for current repairs. $1000 for previous repairs, and $1000 for gas and missed work for lack of transportation the second time they had to replace the transmission.
