Avoid this company AT ALL COST!!!!

They never transferred service to new owner when I sold my house after my wife died. I have been calling every month, 2 to 3 times, since September 2021 and told the new owner never contacted them. I spoke with the new owner and she sent me multiple emails she sent to AWHR requesting transfer, AWHR NEVER responded. Last straw, they sent me to collections for the cost of the water heater. BBB contacted.

I have been a customer for over 10 years. I am now ready to move on.

I am 72 years old, and need hot water. I called AWHR at 9:16 am this morning. They said they would send it to Peterman Plumbing. I am home all day today, but they can't come out and relight the pilot light until tomorrow, or Thursday or Friday, but not today. It takes less than 10 minutes. This is not what I signed up for. This plumbing company is the ONLY one AWHR has for my whole city, which is not a small city. Only ONE plumber. That is beyond stupid. I have called them before and they had several companies to call near me. This plumber is 30 minutes away. So , now no hot water because they don't have 10 minutes to spare. AWHR is not it is all cracked up to be. Their service is horrible. I do not recommend getting sucked into what this company is selling! I am sorry I did.
