Contracted Christopher Bailey in June 2022 to remodel my home including my kitchen. He stated that all work would be completed in 1month. The cost for the kitchen was $K12,100.00. Work on kitchen started in July but to date, my kitchen is incomplete. Chris was initially given $K9, however his worker refused to complete the job because he needed more money. There is a lot of defects with the cabinets, which i pointed out to Chris. I left home on September 10 for work. Chris agreed that he would have the flaws corrected and the kitchen completed by the time i get back home. Whilst on my assignment, Chris contacted my and requested an additional $K1500.00 to continue working on the kitchen, money was sent using his email as he requested. I visited home in mid October for few days and Chris brought another cabinet maker to see the existing situation. This new person agreed that he would repair and completed the kitchen in the early week of October 23. That did not happen, we never hear from this man neither Chris. Therefore before i got home I informed Chris that I would like all money returned in full and he should remove cabinets from my home because the kitchen is incomplete and I can't wait any longer for a kitchen. Chris refused to comply with request and insisted on having the same unreliable man to come and complete kitchen. I no longer desire to continue business with him. I have found another company to make my kitchen. Resolution Sought Return all payment of $10,500.00 and pick up their kitchen cabinets. In the meantime, I would like to have my new contractor make my new kitchen. Would it be okay for me to remove Chris' cabinets so I can have a kitchen? I have been without a kitchen for 5mths.
