My problem with BGE has nothing to do with money. On April 4th our street lights on the 3900 block of Mount Pleasant Ave stopped working. It's been too long already and I'm not satisfied with their explanation. When I called the first time I was told it would be 72 hours before anything could be done. 72 hours went by and nothing happened. No response or anything. I called the second time a few days later, and heard the same thing. Only this time I saw a truck on the corner of the 3900 block of Mount Pleasant and the intersection of the 100 block of Fagley St. I saw a gentleman get at and put a sign on the post at that intersection. It stated underground cable repair needed and would be checked on April 16th which is today. Now they're telling me it could be between the 17th and May 1st. Why we have to go nearly a month with no street lights especially in our neighborhood is beyond me. My family loves me and my son but they refuse to visit when it's pitch black outside, and then on weekends it's even worse because the bar people around the corner take all the spaces and people who live here on this block have to park far away, and then walk farther to their own door in the dark. It gets bad when you're walking up the street and a rat crosses your path, it's scary. At least with the lights on we can see them and move out of their way. My son blind in his left eye. Many of the neighbors are really upset about this too. Can you please help us? Resolution Sought All we want for an outcome is for them to do the work as soon as possible, and have our lights turn back on. People who answer the phone are not very helpful, and I even asked to speak to someone in charge and was unable to. Someone needs to explain why this is taking so long.

BGE's accounting practices are predatory. They failed to, as I believed they would, to remit funds to Contellation Home Energy for my warranty program. CHE eventually just started direct billing me, which led me to discover they(BGE) uses some sort of calculation, that was not stated at any point til now, that they were only remitting a portion of said payments, at times. I couldn't get any actual help from BGE customer service, just the run around. Resolution Sought First, provide me with proof of said calculations that show they only released portions of payments for the last 2 years. Second, yes, refund me my money that I paid to you and thought was going to Constellation Home Energy
