Nightmare. Hijacked my belongings for double the cost and left 1/2 my belongings in a parking garage.

Please refer to BBB and Yelp on complaints on B & K movers. They are extremely unprofessional and rude. Also, they only accept cash or Venmo which is a huge red flag. My experience with Kimo Lucero and Robert Bruno was a complete nightmare. Mid-move they locked my belongings in the truck and refused to unlock the moving truck until I paid double what Kimo quoted. Robert Bruno was verbally harassing on the phone with me and even went so far as calling the Lakewood Police on me to further intimidate and bully me into paying double. The Lakewood officer was kind and said this type of scam happens all too often. I ended up Venmoing Robert so I could get my belongings. Kimo Lucero left half my belongings at the loading dock of my apartment building and bailed. They did not finish the job. I have pictures of all that they left in the parking garage. My 16yo teen son and I ended up having to move half of our belongings to the apartment ourselves. They damaged my sofa, dresser, glass lamp and bed. I've pictures of the damaged furniture. Please do the research and find reputable and professional movers who are forthcoming about the quote , the full scope of the job and estimated charges.
