I purchased a sofa and receive it in the fall of 2019. It is made be have completely washable cushion covers and sofa cover. Its a canvas like material and I stressed to the salesperson that is it washable and was told it would last for years and I could wash the covers anytime. This fall I washed the covers for the very first time and 3 of them came apart. (6 cushion covers in total) I called the company asap and after me going after them they agreed to replace those 3 covers only. I expressed my concern that if 3 fell apart the very first time now I'd be afraid to wash the remaining three. They wouldn't agree to full replacement but I was told they would send me a free shipping tag to send in the 3 covers and they would be replaced. That has been 3 weeks and I've never received that tag. I contacted them again, still no tag. I feel it all should have been replaced no questions asked, I paid 2000 dollars for something I thought would last years and years. Resolution Sought Replace all the covers including the couch cover since nothing will match now after the sofa being exposed to the light. I don't want a new couch, just all covers.

The manufacturer of the sofa has reached out to Ms. Lemme - and is e-mailing her the call tags to return the slip covers that did not hold up when washed. The customer told the rep that she wanted all new covers so that everything would match, since the sunlight has probably caused some fading. According to Ms. Lemme, who I spoke to today, the rep agreed to this request. I will be touching base with the rep on Tuesday, Jan 4.

Consumer emailed stating: The resolution that Barbos made was to sew the 3 cushions that ripped during washing. I wanted a whole new set of cushions and couch cover because I feel if 3 out of 6 cushions ripped in one washing that there is a inherent issue with their covers and leaves me open for further issues next time I wash them. They said if anymore rip that they will fix those too....so if I don't wash them for a year or two will that be the case? Plus I feel they should stand by their product and just be fair and square. Leaves me feeling like I have a crappy 2000 dollar couch.

Barbos NE Sales rep for the Manufacturer personally got involved and spoke to this customer. The covers were repaired and sent back to her. Both the manufacturer and the Sales rep will stand behind their product. This was conveyed to customer Lemee in an email on 1/19/2022.
