It's unfortunate that I have to come to leave a review, but everyone needs to know what's going on at Barlow Chevy. I just recently had a horrible experience over there as the pictures show the date. My 2015 Impala had an issue at the right front wheel. I tried to avoid but hit a big pothole, and it damaged only the front right rim. I ended up getting a new rim and tire put on to find out that the passenger front wheel bearing was damaged, which makes sense. I got that replaced and I was still having some issues with my vehicle (traction control light would flash here and there when turning right). I go to Barlow to get a diagnostic to see what's going on. I explained to the technician very well what's going on. There was an issue prior with the right front (passenger)wheel, I even took him for a test drive to duplicate the issue so they wouldn't call me back saying they couldn't duplicate it. The next day, I get a call saying the technician looked everything over, and the issue is the driver side wheel bearing and the rear passenger bearing. To fix the problem for sure, both of them need to be replaced and I was quoted about $1,800.00 for the repair. Being that I just paid for a rim, tire, and passenger wheel bearing, I wasn't ready to spend an additional $1,800.00. I paid the diagnostic fee and got my vehicle back. A mechanic friend of mine suggested getting a second suggestion because it sounds like they are throwing parts at the car. I get a second opinion Resolution Sought I would like a refund for my vehicle being misdiagnosed and for the horrible experience at the dealer with the Service Manager!
