About a week ago I visited Barrios Auto School located at 3914 5th Avenue in Brooklyn, New York 11232. Unfortunatley, I chose to take a class with them set for today, Thursday, August the 17th of 2023 yet i forgot all about it until Barrios Auto school actually called me at 12:30pm to ask me why i had missed the class. I explained that i had forgotten all about it, apologized and then asked them if it was possible for me to receive credit for the missed class by retaking it at another time today or on a later date and i was told that according to "their policy" there was no credit for missing a class and that i would simply have to pay for another class. I work very hard for my money as a graveyard shift security officer at locations such as the Empire State Building, Chase Banks, and One World Trade Center and i explaine that to the receptionist yet she said she could not help me. This made me angry so i decided to file a complaint with the better business beaureu yet i found your organization instead. Can you help? It surely sounds like you can. Thank you very much for your time and consideration. Resolution Sought To reschedule my missed class without charging me for it and in that way crediting or at least redeeming my missed class and my $45.00 payment for it.

Company states; Mr. Figueroa did not show up for his 11:00am class. He was called at 11:05am to find out if he was coming or not. He did not answer numerous calls to his number. He knew very well that we have a strict cancellation policy. In fact, we have signs in our office, stating our cancellation policy. I reached out to him and he paid $20.00 and received his call on August 21st, at 11:00am. We have been in business since 1973. This is the first time that a customer has made a complaint.
