approximately four weeks ago, I had collision work and service work completed on my 2021 Lincoln corsair at Basil Ford of Niagara Falls. My car was present at their shop for approximately three weeks in that time. I rented a car and went through my insurance company for the collision work. Two weeks ago they called me and told me my car was completed. I went to the shop and the service station I paid for the collision work being my deductible and then I paid for the service work, which were separate transactions. The head of the service department walked me over to the collision shop because there was no paperwork and I just wanted to know how the job went if everything was OK with insurance. At that time I talk to the receptionist and I told him that I received what looked like a paper check or it looked like a copy of a check from the insurance company and I wanted to know if everything was all set at that time that was told that everything was all set with the insurance company and that there was nothing to worry about and I said it was weird that they sent me what look like a picture or a copy of a check to my home. The receptionist said not to worry about anything. They had everything taken care of and as I said, I paid my deductible and I left about a week after that I received a call from the receptionist in the collision shop saying that I needed to pay the amount of the the work that was completed or they were coming to repossess my vehicle. The next day I talked to Resolution Sought Give me my car back if payment needs to be made out payment schedule. My insurance company dropped me after this in.
