I purchased a vehicle from Basil resale when I went to see the car it was raining out car looked great the day I went to pick it up they didn't pull it around until after I paid and signed everything the car body was dented and scratched up pretty bad it's a $30,000 car I gave them $11,000 cash plus a trade in and they are not trying to accommodate me they took the car back to repair and did a horrible job by just spot painting the scratches. Resolution Sought I would like my car repaired correctly they could have fixed the car first then sold it for money which I would have paid

Regarding the complaint, I believe we went above and beyond to be fair and help Miss Garner. To describe the situation from start, she filled in credit application and wanted to be approved specifically on that vehicle. We called her as soon as we got approval and she told us she needs almost 2 weeks to come up with the down payment, on which we agreed to hold the vehicle for her. after that she came in and test drove the vehicle and put a deposit and set up delivery date. After going over the numbers and paperwork we delivered her the vehicle and everything was good until 2 days later when she came in to complain on dent and scratches. I understand that she might not have seen the scratches but at no point was the vehicle hidden from her nor she was forced to sign the paperwork without seeing or driving the vehicle. Little feedback about our company, we have been in business for almost 70 years and we maintain excellent reputation. Every vehicle we deliver goes through 101-point inspection and we make sure everything is top notch mechanically with the vehicles satisfying NYS inspection protocols. However, our store is a resale center and we sell pre-owned vehicle and all of our vehicles are exposed on the lot and are priced accordingly which means we take in consideration any dents or scratches when we form a price. Even though we are not responsible for scratches or dents, we scheduled appointment and spend all day detailing and buffing her vehicle and did the best we could on the dent. I am truly sorry if Miss Garner is not happy with the scratches but at the same time, we spend reasonable amount of time and money to make her feel that way.
