This company exploited a disabled elderly veteran by coming to his house and coercing him to sign a contract for $27,000 for a walk in bath tub. Bath tub only. They used existing surround and everything. This company coerced the elderly veteran into writing them a check by coming to the house and having the house keeper give them a blank check. They then took the blank check to the veteran in the hospital and had him sign the check under duress while he was intoxicated on narcotics and also in a delirious state of mind due to his illness. According to the veteran he was quoted $10,000 for this bathroom install. This veteran is on his death bed in and out of the hospital and this business exploited him and over charged him for services performed. They also took the door to the tub to render it useless and never completed the repairs to the door and wall and the basement for the damage they did while installing the bathtub. Resolution Sought I would like the business to complete their work and charge a customary and reasonable amount for a walk in bath tub. I would also like them to hold to account the employees who conspired to defraud the disabled senior veteran.
