Have been dealing with this shop for years. Service has been questionable for years. But with friendship overlooked it. Most recently. have has 2 starters put on. First time starter put on crooked. Went back a second time. Got a phone call and voicemail saying it was files. Paid for it got some gas ,Car has the same problem. Took it back they said they made me aware it was my flywheel. But i was still charged for a starter being installed. Now i have to take it somewhere else because they can not fix it Resolution Sought Refund for a starter being put on when knowing it could be something else. If that is the case do not service the vehicle.

The customer brought his vehicle in for a starter at his request. We replaced the starter the first time as he asked and our mechanic called and left a message on his voicemail, explaining the starter was replaced and starting fine but the flywheel may be going bad and should be taken to a dealership. The second time he brought it back we replaced the starter again as it was under warranty and was told again that it was probably the flywheel that was causing the problem. We told him to take it to a dealer because we do not do that type of repairs.

Yes I was told the flywheel could be bad after the second starter was put on.My issue is if I was told the fly wheel could be the issue why was the second starter put on.And also charged for it both times. If they knew it was the fly wheel and they were not equipped to fix it.They should have not put a starter on the vehicle and charged me once again.I was called and left a voicemail by their employee Karen saying my car was ready.Picked up and paid a second time.Stopped to get gas a half a mile down the road.Vehicle doing the same thing. Not fixed The first time in which the vehicle was towed from Henrico to the shop.Charged for towing 250.00 and a starter being put on 160.00 in addition to 160.00 the second time totaling 580.00.
