I am disabled, my mom is 81 we saved 10000 in a little over 5 years and went looking for a vehicle since our present car is near the end of its life. Went to bayshore Ford to look at a vehicle that looked promising. Bought said vehicle for 12500,10000 in our saving cash and 2500 on our credit card. check engine light was on, but the man said he would take care of it and mom and I went home. When I picked up my vehicle the I went home to PA. Transferred all paperwork, it and took it for a PA Inspection. Never passed inspection, never got to enjoy the ride, took it back to Bayshore and the man was not very obliging. In fact he was rude, my niece heard what had happened to mom she wrote a review on their website and low and behold the man called back with a different attitude and said repairs would be about 4000 dollars and I would have to pay half. I Said let me get this, you sell us something that does not work and then you want us to pay half of your responsibility, he told me it was that or nothing...I asked him if his mom bought a vehicle, brought it home only to find its broke and she cannot get her money back, but...if you give us more money we will fix it. .....I ask you does that sound right, is there no justice in Delaware...now I know why the sales slip said...as i...what they meant was buyer beware in Delaware. As is does not count when I never got to use it...I have been hoodwinked by a supposed reputable company.....can any one help. Resolution Sought Not charge mom and I for a product to be fixed that was broke in the first place, we are on social security and can not afford to fight in court.
