Ben Craig is the owner of BC Roofing in Robinson. He was recommended from a friend so he came to give us a bid for our roof on January 10th. He required 75 down to order the materials because he wasn't able to order my roofing materials without it. He supposedly did not have a credit line. We agreed on 60 down which was $9,723. He gave us the run around about the weather, MRI appointments, and his grandfather, and everything you can imagine. He told me on January 30th that they would be there on Thursday with the materials and start the roof. That Thursday came and he gave me the run around about why he couldn't come to start it and why the materials weren't delivered. I have been given every excuse since then from him having to deal with his grandpa to him drawing out a loan for the money. I was told by him twice now to meet him a a specific location to get the money and then he never showed up and was given more excuses about it why he didn't show up. I waited at Target to supposedly meet him for over an hour with him never showing up then again today at Wells Fargo for over an hour today again. I am a very nice and understanding person especially since I just lost my own Grandfather. He took advantage of my niceness and I am sick over it. I have not been able to get my roof done over this and now have to take out a personal loan to cover what he has stolen from me. He finally returned my money on 2/15/23. I would never recommend this man to anyone. Resolution Sought I want people to know to not trust this man. He doesn't get the job done and will take your money and run.
