I was taking advatage of by GMC in Myrtle Beach worst experience ever!!!I i took my car originally to Hyatt GMC in myrtle beach 4/29/22 to repair my cruise control because it had stop working , i also have a convertable top that i wanted them to look at because i thought was moving slow, but to be honest (i never knew how fast the top should move), i figured they knew better than me since i was was basing my top's speed off a corvette's convertible top i had seen before. So i trusted them, to let me know if there was a problem! So they took my car and came back and told me i needed a brake switch and some trunk struts , so i bought a brake switch from autozone and ordered the trunk struts from ebay, i installed the brake switch myself but that didn't work, than i tried the trunk struts but my hands were too big to fit between grooves, so i decided to take it back to gmc a few weeks later, on a (Monday) 6/4/22 around 1pm) i now they tell me they're under new management and they can't honor the last diagnosis and they'll have to charge me again to re-diagnosis it, and they cant get to it till Tuesday i tell them i already tried to replace the brake switch and it didn't work but i brought my own struts and if they can put them on since (they said) that's what i needed last time i was there, than i said "is it ok if i leave it today and if i can get a ride home so you guys can get to it and it'll already be over here, they say perfect, that sounds good,..... Resolution Sought I want my convertible top fix and to open like it did before I gave it to them at their expense or for them to pay for someone that can, since they don't have the wealth or knowledge to figure the problem out themselves

Beach Buick GMC repaired the necessary items regarding the cruise control issue that Mr. Cheatham was experiencing with his 2007 Pontiac G6. We also advised Mr. Cheatham that we are unable to make any repair attempts to his convertible top due to obsolete parts. The convertible top is going to continue to exhibit issues until the proper parts are located for his year make and model vehicle. We did not make any repair attempts to the convertible top, nor did we cause any functionality issues pertaining to the convertible top. The issues were already present during Mr. Cheatham's very first service visit with us. Continued use of a weak component can cause further damage and or failure to additional items.
