This company removed my water meter after my home was demolished in January '25. I was told before disconnecting that to restore service it would be a $25 reconnecting fee; however, this turned into them wanting me to pay $12,000 to tap into sewage. I've have the option of keeping and using septic tank with the approval of the health department, but this company informed me that I would still be paying monthly for something that I'm not tapping into. They mentioned something about needing gravity... but gravity was fine for 30 years with my septic tank which is being upgraded, and I'm complaining about paying for services I'm not using. Resolution Sought This business to return my water meter, restore services at $25 reconnection fee, and not charge me for s service I will not be using.

Please note that Ms. Seyle has obtained an attorney to act on her behalf, but I can provide some details surrounding the account. Ms. Seyle requested BJWSA end her water service effective 01/06/25. We completed the work as requested by initially locking the meter. Her contractor damaged the meter and caused a leak at the location. The meter could no longer be secured and was therefore pulled to avoid further damage or leaks. We have invited Ms. Seyle to apply for our Thad Coleman fund. If she is approved for the fund, it would pay 80 of the cost to tie into the sewer. She was sent the application and information April 2, 2025. Thank you,
