I dropped off my car for some front end repairs on 11/14. Bell Auto Body continues to lie about the completion date and give excuses regarding why it's not complete yet. - Weeks 1-3 - Sent them the insurance estimate and dropped off my car on 11/14. It sat there for 3 weeks with no work done because, "well, it wasn't checked in correctly and we've had people out on vacation". They never called me OR the insurance. - Week 4 - They finally ordered parts, saying, "I don't know what happened, but we lost the estimate." (They have since changed their story, saying they never got it in the first place) - Week 5 - "Parts came in, but we're backed up in paint right now." - Week 6 - "we had a couple dealership cars come in that're really hot, so yours should go in as soon as those come out of paint." - Week 7 - "parts are out of paint, we just need to install them. But these clips can break sometimes, so it could be Monday (1/8) at the latest." - Week 8 - They stopped answering their phone, so my wife stopped by on her way home for pictures. They had lied about why it was taking so long. They had damaged a door during repairs and tried to cover it up without telling me. Tuesday, 1/16, will mark 9 weeks that they've had my vehicle with no reliable completion date in sight. I don't know what to do to get my car back Resolution Sought Ultimately, I just need my car back. Bell continues to lie and delay, with no end in sight. I'm strongly considering legal action, because the continued delays are causing problems and complications in other areas of my life.
