Car wouldn't start. Towed to Bellingham Ford. They diagnosed and said it had a bad fuel module. Quoted $550.00 Work was done and picked up car. Hard to start at dealership. Finally started but later the same day car would not start. Dealer picked car up. They replaced the fuel pump and charged Ford Motor Company for that repair but that didn't fix the problem. 3rd times a charm and they found a wiring problem. Charged about $80 for that repair. I assumed they'd waive that charge since I already paid $550. for the module that didn't fix the problem. But no, they're trying to say it needed both the module and the wiring repair. They can't prove that but that's what they're saying. They do admit they cheated Ford by charging Ford Motor Company for a fuel pump that wasn't needed. There's no way they can prove it needed the module and they conveniently threw away the old part which I wanted back. I think it's very reasonable for me to ask just for the $80 back because quite frankly I should be getting the $550 back for a repair it didn't need. I spent 43 years in auto repair right here in Bellingham including a couple of years with Ford and I know I'm being more than reasonable just asking for the $80 reimbursement. FYI, we are picking up the car today because they say it's fixed but they said the same thing when we picked it up the first time after paying them $550. I don't know if they're just incompetent or if they aren't to be trusted but it does make me wonder. Resolution Sought Refund of $80
