Benjamin Franklin Plumbing complaints

On December 20,2025 my aunt passed ago and I inherited her one story house built in 1956 I am 72 years old so I needed the bathroom tub removed for which I contacted West Shore . When they removed the tub and the drain pipe I was told that most likely all of the plumbing in the house was clogged and I should have all it replaced. I made an appointment with Benjamin Plumbing and between Jan 15-16, 2026 they repiped the whole house . The company cashed the first check on Jan. 16, 2026, the second on Jan 21 and the third on Jan. 27, 2026. When I consulted with a contractor that I contacted to renovate the kitchen cabinets and replace the wall oven he suggested that the complete house be rewired because there was no grounding. After two estimates, I decided to contact Mr. Sparky Electrical Company- Franklin's brother company. According to Mr Sparky all of the drywall including the ceilings needed to removed. The contractor accompanied me to file for a drywall permit. The residential permit was issued on Feb. 16, 2026 which was tied to the electrical permit issued on Feb. 13, 2026. The Electrical Rough In Inspection was passed on Feb.27, 2026 and the NOCR Drywall Inspection was passed on March 16,th. On April 6th I was informed that an inspector would inspect the plumbing on April 7th. The Inspection failed due to the drywall and suggested it be opened. That was not an option. Resolution Sought The Inspector expects the drywall to be removed or an engineer needs to write a letter about the plumbing . The company says it is my responsibility to obtain the letter. What I don't understand is why the plumbing permit was filed in the county on March 31st two months after installation and payment. I was never informed that I had to file for a permit.
