I took my 2015 Chrysler Town & Country van to repair an issue with the driver side seat. The seat became detached from the base of the car. On 7/12/23, the company confirmed that the power seat control/trim was broken and estimated the repairs at $260.00 plus tax. On 7/25 the part was supposedly replaced. On 8/10/23, I texted with the company and informed them that the seat had detached once again and requested an appointment to have the issue resolved. I take the car a few days after to have the repairs done. In August I encountered another issue with the car. I was not able to move the seat forward, backward, up, and down. In addition, during this time the seat became detached AGAIN. The company said to worry first about replacing the fuse. However, they never replaced the fuse and want to charge me again for repairing the seat that became detached from the base. They are insinuating that I broke the part. They are accusing me of breaking the seat. My argument is that no one has touched the seat except them and they never did the initial repairs correctly to prevent this issue from reoccurring. Even at one point they attributed my weight to be the cause of the ongoing issue with the seat. Til present time my car seat is still damaged and they want me to pay again to have the repairs done. I find this to be unfair and unjust considering I don't believe they have properly fix the issue from the beginning. Resolution Sought I would like them to fix the seat without charging me again.
