I went to Benton Nissan Hoover on 2-16-24 and agreed to purchase a car for 25982 which was internet price. I put 10k down and sign everything on iPad and when I got home I was charged 29k and financed 24k after putting 10k down. I went back on 2-17-24 and only putting 5miles on car I told them I was happy with the deal and they forced extended warranty on there that I want aware of. I told them my wife didn't like the car and we want to cancel the deal but he said they could only trade it in on something else with me taking a loss. That's bad business why can they have a cool off period lol other dealerships and honor there original pricing I was scammed and can't trade car in now bc I'm upside down with all the extended warranty I didn't want in the beginning. I would love to get me 10k deposit back or adjust paperwork so I can trade it and get my money. I'm not the only person this happen to. Resolution Sought I would like my deposit of 10k back so I can by another car my wife fells safe and comfortable in and not being pressured to sign statements and not seeing payment unto transaction are completely

The customer purchased the car on 2/16 and came back on 2/17 stating that his wife did not like the car. We gave him the option to swap to a different car since we do not just let customers return cars after test driving, giving them a full buying experience of showing/explaining the vehicle and its options. Going over numbers in full detail and giving him the chance to take the car home and show it to his wife the car which he declined. He said that he would just keep the car since he did not want to swap to something different. He then later came back and said we did not explain to him that he was buying a warranty and we forced it on him. We explained to him that the purchase and explanation of all warranties and gap insurance are done in the finance office and recorded. We let him know that we would be more than happy to show him the video and explain any questions that he had and that the warranty he purchased was completely refundable. He declined not to cancel and said he remembered purchasing them now and had just forgotten what it was he purchased. We asked him to invite his wife over so that we could explain the car to her and give her the option to swap to something else. she came test-drove a few other cars and decided to keep the Infiniti that they purchased on 2/16. 2/19 Mr. Edge came back to the store telling us that his wife was upset with him so we decided to give him back his check and take back the car. We understand this process can be emotionally taxing for some people and we are here to support our customers. If there is anything else we can do we would love to know. Our company slogan is you friend in the car business and we fully endorse that.
