October 7, 2022 I bought a vehicle from Best Auto paid in full with a cashiers check from Truist Bank. I test drove the vehicle for about an hour. Brought the mechanic (mike ) attention to the tires. The sales manager stated that they do a 9 point inspection on all their vehicles and they get them from a Auction. They said they would take care of it. I also bought the extended warranty. They offered a 90 warranty but as I was signing paperwork she kept saying even thou says 90 days in state of Virginia it is sold as is. Not even 24 hours later my brakes went out. I reached out to the sales manager by text and from there it became a nasty conversation. I called the extended warranty company on Monday. They told me they don't cover brakes. Once the mechanic looks at it they were to call warranty company. Ricks Auto Care called and spoke with Matt at ASC (warranty company) he stated to Rick the owner that none of the issues were covered I've only had it since Friday and he called it preexisting. Contacted Best Auto again another nasty conversation I should have said this or that to warranty completely I tried to explain I'm not the one speaking with them. She said she was calling them, she called me back gave me a local person from ASC. Spoke with him he went out to look at vehicle and sent me a text telling me none of the components were covered. Now I'm out of pocket for repairs hoping the extended warranty I bought would cover. Resolution Sought Refund the money that I spent on the mechanic work that needed to be done.
