I financed a car from them. I test drove it. Problems began 2 days later that weren't apparent at test drive. Insufficient headlights, electrical issues during a rain storm, then a couple days later it wouldn't even start. The car lot refused to let me return the vehicle and cancel the sale. I lost my paycheck because I couldn't work because car left me stranded, so I will be unable to make payments and had to surrender the car. Resolution Sought I would like the return of my down payment. $2000.00, the sale canceled and the adverse affect removed from my credit. The car has been surrendered

When customer notified there was a problem with the vehicle I told her that I could not cancel the sale. However I did tell her to get the vehicle back to me so that I could send it to the mechanic shop to get it fixed. She refused to do that she said she wanted to be put in another vehicle. I told her I could not do that. The vehicle was sold "AS IS" and she was aware of that. She signed paper stating such. Even though it was sold as is I was willing to fix the vehicle. I told her that was all I could do if she wasn't willing to let me fix it then there was nothing else I could do.

That is inaccurate. I spoke to her on the phone and explained everything that had happened and she said I could bring it back to her that day. We had agreed she could keep the down payment to offset any money used for filing fees etc. I was unable to drive the car to her. She said to come up to her shop and 'that will be that' . I took her at her word.
