Best choice roofing replaced my roof due to storm damage which was covered by my insurance. The assistance they provided with filling the claim and scheduling was fine. However when work began, everything went to hell. The workers showed up and not a single person spoke English, they tried asking if they could park their trailer on my lawn, I said no and cleared a spot for them in the driveway. They parked on the lawn anyway, leaving ruts in the yard. They left trash all over my yard and broke my fence, they offered me $250 off for the yard and fence damage, which is fine. They had to return the next day to complete the job, they never showed I got a message at 4:30 stating they had an emergency. The same day we noticed damage to our vehicles, we reviewed our cameras and found footage of one of the workers hitting it. We let them know and they provided his insurance, since then I have had to take 3 half days off work to get estimates and drop the vehicle off and arrange rental vehicles. Their employees insurance company would not cover the all expenses up front so I had to lay out a bunch of money, I advised the company they would not receive my deductible until I was fully reimbursed, they have continuously harassed me about the balance, which I will not pay until I receive reimbursed for the money I laid out. Resolution Sought This company cost me a day of work when they didn't show on day 2 of the job, and cost 3 additional 1/2 days to arrange the repairs of my vehicle. That's a total of 2 1/2 days of work they cost me, for all the time and inconvenience I believe they should give me a discount on the remaking $1500 I owe them. Being that my hourly pay is roughly $40 an hour I think they should at least cut that amount in half if not more.
