Better Days Detox runs out of everything from detergent to body wash to groceries. Foodstuff is left on front porch to spoil, no one even rang the door for delivery..More food is thrown out than eaten. Medication is withheld so patients suffer going cold turkey at some of the "Supervisors step-down whims." I was shaking so bad and couldn't get even ONE ativan. What they call their "Program"is 60 minutes a day. The rest of the the time is spent watching TV. Cory is in charge and never around. No one goes to pick up needed meds on time. The place is filthy. Fights between clients are common. Clients bring alcohol in and drink in their room...2 days prior to my leaving the female director "O" said she'd drive me home herself. At 1020 she was still in her car yakking on the phone, full of excuses, saying she'd get me an Uber at 11am. By then I was on the curb, packed, meds packed and the Uber I called and paid for was there. These people are going to kill someone some day. They are unprofessional, have no education in detoxing seriously ill patients or any other education in Healthcare. I shared a room with a roommate and her THREE CATS! How sanitary is that? I have bug bites all over my body. This place needs to be shut down. Resolution Sought I want a refund of my $7000. I want a full, unannounced inspection of Better Days by the Health Dept. and Rehab addiction depth before someone is seriously hurt.
