I received a loan for 550.00 I paid them 1,000 the payment was 181.00 for 6 months,I took a second loan for 800.00 they want me to pay them 264.00 for 12 months. I am 68 years old having hard time. didn't get any stimulus checks because I was claimed by someone..Just getting over cancer sent 2016, still on watch. Resolution Sought Just want to know I'm I being scammed.

I am in receipt of your complaint filed on the Business Consumer Alliance Portal ("BCA Portal") on May 11, 2022 and received on May 12, 2022. Your complaint inquires into the business of Big Picture Loans, LLC (the "Company"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tribal Economic Development Holdings, LLC, a wholly owned and operated economic arm and instrumentality of the Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians ("Tribe"). Specifically, you assert that you are having a hard time paying your loan. Company records reflect that all repayment terms, including finance charges, were properly disclosed to you pursuant to Tribal and applicable federal law. Company records further reflect that, on March 4, 2022, you applied for a $800.00 installment loan with the Company. That same day, you electronically signed the loan agreement at 5:39 AM, the Company accepted your application and originated the loan to your bank account in the amount of $800.00. By electronically signing the loan agreement, you agreed to abide by its terms, including the repayment schedule. To date, the Company has received payments from you in the amount of $528.56. While not obligated to do so, in an effort to resolve this in a manner that is most favorable to you, the Company is willing to settle your account for $271.44. A customer service representative will contact you on behalf of the Company with the terms of the settlement. I trust that you will find the Company's resolution of your complaint acceptable. If you are not satisfied with the Company's resolution of your complaint, pursuant to Section 9.3 of the Tribal Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Code ("Code") you may pursue an administrative review of the Company's decision by writing to the Tribal Financial Services Regulatory Authority ("Authority") at P.O. Box 249, Watersmeet, Michigan 49969 within 90 days from the date of this letter.
