Bill's Custom Upholstery complaints

My husband took our boat in to have boat seats re upholstered to Bill's Upholstery for $2500 November of 2020. $1000 deposit and $1500 when finished. My husband died in February, so I started trying to get the boat finished. After several phone calls and visits to this business, it was finally done in May 2021. I went and paid for it, without looking at it, and to let Mr Smouse know I would pick it up when one of my sons could come with me. He said he would bring to my house, he knew where i lived he'd been there before to look it. I wasn't home when he brought it. I saw it when i got home from work. It was not done and very bad work. I had him come look at it, and he said he didn't do it, it was one of his workers and that he would take it back redo it himself. About 2-3 weeks later, and after a few phone calls he came and got it. It took another 3 months, and several phone calls later that my son went to get it, unfinished and had to call the police to come there to get the boat. Ii is going to cost me $3000 to get it done again and I asked Mr Smouse to pay $1500 and he agreed to pay $200 a month until that was paid, because he didn't have the total, starting this November, but he hasn't paid anything.
